Gas Engineer

Take on a short-term contract role with consistent weekday hours as a Gas Engineer, carrying out servicing work across domestic properties in Birmingham. You’ll be working in occupied properties, supported by a reliable team with a steady flow of work through to the end of June. If you're looking for a Temp Gas Engineer role with a clear end date, structured hours, and local work, this could be a strong fit.

I’d love to see CVs from anyone who has worked as a Gas Engineer, Gas Service Engineer or Heating Engineer within social housing or similar environments.

As a Gas Engineer, you will be:

• Servicing domestic gas boilers
• Carrying out fault finding and diagnosing issues
• Reporting additional works required to supervisors
• Working towards first time fix targets
• Following all health and safety and compliance standards

I’d love to speak to anyone who has:

• CCN1, CEN1, HTR1 gas qualifications
• Experience servicing domestic gas appliances
• A full UK driving licence
• Additional tickets such as CKR1, MET1 or WAT1 (desirable)

The Gas Engineer role is offering:

• Monday to Friday working hours (8:00am – 4:30pm)
• Ongoing work until the end of June
• Consistent, local workload within social housing

This Gas Engineer role is a temporary position, starting as soon as possible and running through to around the end of June.
