Corporate Tax Manager – Leeds, UK
We are seeking a Corporate Tax Manager to join our Global Compliance and Reporting team in Leeds. This role focuses on leading technically complex tax compliance and reporting engagements for large multinational clients.
Your Key Responsibilities
- Grow and maintain relationships with existing and new clients
- Lead the delivery of technically complex tax compliance and tax reporting engagements and related consulting projects
- Participate in tax audit engagements
- Provide exceptional client service
- Collaborate with other tax specialist teams
- Supervise, coach, and mentor junior staff
- Lead team initiatives to ensure successful project delivery
Qualifications
- Minimum 4 years of experience as a corporate tax practitioner
- ACA, CA, ACCA, CTA, or equivalent tax inspector certification with a full technical training course, law qualification, or other equivalent tax specialist qualifications
Skills and Attributes
- Significant experience in corporate tax from practice or an in‑house background
- Strong client relationship management skills
- Negotiation skills with the ability to sustain opinions and manage stakeholder expectations
- Business development skills and ability to identify and convert opportunities
- Effective time management and ability to remain calm under pressure
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Enthusiastic team player capable of building and sustaining effective teams
- Experience coaching and developing junior staff
