What You’ll Do

We’re hiring a Technical Trainer to join our Technical Training team. We need a dynamic, engaging, and passionate individual who will inspire and train our forestry colleagues, helping to develop their skills and grow our internal apprenticeship program.

This will involve delivering elements of the Forest Craftsperson Apprenticeship such as fencing, mensuration, tree ID and harvesting, and other core forestry skills training to meet our business needs and strategic objectives.

You will also collaborate with the Health and Safety team and the wider business to support key strategic goals.

Where you’ll work

The location of this post is ideally at the Cannock Chase Training Centre, but may be open to negotiation depending on the successful candidate. Blended and home working arrangements will also be considered. The role involves dealing with contacts across the UK, and regular travel with overnight stays.

You will be asked to write a 200 word statement on your relevant experience and career history, along with a personal statement of no more than 500 words. You will be assessed on both during sifting. More details about how to apply are listed on the application form.
