We now have an exciting opportunity to recruit a Trade Compliance Specialist to join our Danfoss Power Solutions team, to be based at one of our main DPS sites across Europe. The Trade Compliance Specialist ensures the company’s import and export activities comply with all applicable global trade laws and regulations. This role supports the business by managing customs compliance, trade documentation, classification, origin, and risk mitigation while enabling efficient and compliant global supply chains.

What You’ll Be Doing

Ensure compliance with global trade regulations, including customs laws, export controls, sanctions, and embargoes

Maintain Trade Compliance manuals, SOPs, and internal control frameworks

Guide suppliers and internal teams on compliance requirements and documentation standards

Monitor import/export recordkeeping, valuation, duty management, and preferential trade programs

Track regulatory changes worldwide and assess their impact on the business

Manage relationships with customs brokers, external counsel, and regulatory authorities

Support audits, investigations, corrective actions, and continuous improvement initiatives

Provide trade compliance input for new product introductions and supply chain changes

What We're Looking For

Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field plus demonstrable experience in trade compliance or customs

Strong knowledge of customs regulations, HS classification, origin rules, and export control regimes

Experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP) and customs management tools

Excellent analytical, documentation, communication, and stakeholder‑management skills

Highly detail‑oriented, structured, and able to work independently in a complex global environment
