Overview
Our client is a Local Authority in the heart of the East Midlands (easily accessible from the M1).
Responsibilities
- Investigate alleged breaches of planning control, including carrying out site inspections and evidence gathering.
- Prepare enforcement notices and reports for legal proceedings where necessary.
- Liase with developers, residents, legal teams, and other stakeholders to support the Council in reducing planning-related risks and ensuring compliance with national and local planning policy.
Requirements
- Experience of working in a Local Authority environment (planning/enforcement) is preferred.
- Ability to manage a caseload and oversee end-to-end processes.
Contract details
- Role duration: 3 months with potential extension.
- Rate: £35/hr (inside IR35).
- Working week: 37 hours.
