What will this role achieve?
The Procurement Analyst – Paper plays a key role in providing timely, accurate reporting and analysis to support the Procurement team. This insight enables the team to make informed decisions and operate as efficiently as possible.
As part of a structured career development pathway, the role also offers the opportunity to take ownership of defined Paper Sundries categories. This includes developing category strategies, identifying productivity opportunities and driving value for the business. While doing so, it remains essential to continue delivering the high‑quality analytical support expected of the Procurement Analyst role for the UK&I Packaging team.
What will be your key deliverables?
- To prepare spend management reports of material groups and provide analytical support as and when needed/requested by the UK&I Packaging team
- Deliver pladis objectives in terms of cost, quality, service and innovation. Work closely with manufacturing sites, supply chain and central technical partners to ensure the delivery of key material group projects.
- First point of contact for Paper Sundry Packaging Categories providing issue resolution support
- Develop a sourcing strategy for the Paper Sundry Categories
- Develop a pipeline of productivity ideas for all paper sundry categories – for 2026 and 2027
- Assist and support the buyers in analysis and implementation of their portfolio pricing, system uploads and approvals
- Assist and support the buyers in preparing the necessary files to enable a smooth AOP/Budgeting process
- Support the Buying team by extracting the portfolio specifications in a report format on a monthly basis – especially key when large scale tenders are being run
- To ensure procurement and other key business processes are adhered to
- Support the budgeting and forecasting process for all categories
- Build a strong working relationships with the UK&I packaging team members as well as key stakeholders across the pladis business.
- Collaborate closely with Procurement Finance to ensure that reported numbers are accurate
Bring your experience.
- 6 months–2 years’ experience in a Procurement team, ideally with exposure to procurement strategy and a strong desire to build a career in the function
- Strong project management and analytical skills
- Completed or currently studying towards a Procurement qualification (e.g., CIPS)

- Initial Telephone call with Talent Acquisition
- 1st stage interview – 45 minutes competency‑based interview based on our company values and your experiences.
- 2nd stage interview – 90 minutes – a technical interview to understand your skill set/case study or presentation interview.
