Role and location
We're looking for a SHE advisor to join our Health & Safety Team based on sites across Heathrow (and the South). Location: Heathrow (and the South). Range of contract projects including our Residential Solutions contracts. Hours: 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday. Some flexibility on hours available if desired; please discuss with us at interview.
Responsibilities
- Provide safety, health and wellbeing advice to the business within the Health & Safety team.
- Advise on all aspects of the IMS Procedures and control standards; educate, coach and support continual improvement of high standards and compliance across the business.
- Carry out scheduled inspections and advisory visits; promote best practice in accordance with a risk-based approach to service support.
- Identify areas for improvement and best practice; ensure these areas are recorded and reported to be implemented across the whole business.
- Promote the Think Safety Differently programme; advise on the Safe Systems at Work, Construction Phase Plans and deliver internal training on HSW systems and risk management.
- Identify and report challenges or opportunities to the Senior SHE Manager.
What we are looking for / Qualifications
- You must hold an IOSH recognised level 5+ Health and Safety qualification (essential).
- You are able to obtain UK Security Clearance and Enhanced DBS.
- You have membership of a professional body (minimum Tech IOSH).
- You have working knowledge of ISO 45001.
- You have excellent IT and written/verbal communication skills, including the ability to communicate at all levels and deliver presentations and training.
- You hold a current full UK Driving Licence.
