From 1/4/26, the Agenda for Change full‑time working week will be reducing from 37 to 36 hours per week. Part‑time hours will be reduced pro‑rata. There will be a corresponding increase in the hourly rate so that pay will not be affected.

To work in the United Kingdom, a person must demonstrate the legal permission to work in the country, granted by the UK Visa and Immigrations Service. The candidate must also ensure the NHS Scotland Board checks the required work permission.

Eligibility Requirements

• Post holder must have a PVG Scheme membership/record. If not currently a member for the required regulatory group (child and/or adult), an application will need to be made to Disclosure Scotland and be deemed satisfactory before starting.
• Due to legislative changes from 1 April 2025, this post may require a different level of criminal records check. If the role is assessed as a regulated role, appointment will require joining the Protecting Vulnerable Groups (PVG) Scheme.

Responsibilities

• Plan, manage and deliver agreed project(s) within timescales and budget, ensuring collaborative working across a broad range of stakeholders to support the delivery of project objectives.
• Directly manage and be accountable for the project team and all associated budgets.
