12 – Workshop & Site Work
Hours: Full Time – Monday–Thursday 8:00am–4:30pm / Friday 8:00am–3:30pm
Overtime: Paid at overtime rates
Salary: €40,500 – €50,000 DOE
Join our client, a specialist engineering and metal fabrication company based in Dublin. They design, manufacture and install high-quality custom metal and stainless-steel solutions across sectors including construction, manufacturing and pharmaceuticals.
Due to continued growth, they are seeking an experienced Stainless & Carbon Steel Fabricator to join their expanding team.
The Role
You will work hands-on with a variety of metals, cutting, shaping and assembling precision components to client specifications. The role involves both workshop and site-based work, maintaining high standards of quality, safety and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
Operate fabrication tools and machinery including semi-CNC equipment, welders, grinders, guillotines, punch press and rollers
Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
Measure, cut and assemble metal components accurately
Perform TIG and MIG welding on stainless and carbon steel
Conduct quality checks to ensure products meet required standards
Maintain a safe and organised working environment
About You
Proven experience in stainless steel and carbon steel fabrication
TIG welding experience essential; MIG welding advantageous
Recognised apprenticeship desirable
Ability to read and understand technical drawings
Strong attention to detail and quality standards
Safety-focused and team-oriented
