Your new role

You will join the finance team as a qualified accountant, playing a key role in delivering accurate financial reporting, robust stock control analysis, payroll support, and timely monthly management accounts. This is a hands-on role suited to a detail-driven finance professional who enjoys working closely with operational teams and contributing meaningful commercial insight to the business.A significant part of the role will focus on stock accounting and margin analysis, alongside supporting payroll processes and month-end close. Strong Excel capability will be essential, as you will regularly analyse large data sets, investigate variances, and present clear financial insights to support decision-making.

What you'll need to succeed

• A professional accounting qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent)
• Strong experience in management accounting and financial analysis
• Proven understanding of stock accounting, valuations, stock movements, and margin reporting
• Advanced Excel skills, with the ability to manipulate and analyse complex data accurately
• A commercial mindset with strong attention to detail
• Experience supporting payroll processes (advantageous but not essential)
• Organised, proactive, and able to work effectively with both finance and operational teams in a fast-paced retail environment
