JOB TITLE: Legal Assistant – Residential PropertynLOCATION: Bedfordshire / Hertfordshire / BuckinghamshirenSALARY: Market ratennTHE ROLE: A well-established, client-focused law firm is seeking a proactive and highly organised Legal Assistant to join its Residential Property team.nnThis is a key support role, assisting fee earners with the full conveyancing process from onboarding through to post-completion, while delivering a high standard of client service.   • Onboard new clients and open/close files in line with firm procedures

  • Support with enquiries, quotations, and conversion of new business
  • nt

  • Assist with title checks, searches, and property-related enquiries
  • nt

  • Prepare exchange and completion documentation
  • nt

  • Manage post-completion tasks including SDLT submissions and Land Registry applications
  • nt

  • Handle client communication, calls, and inbox enquiries

  • Previous experience in a paralegal, legal assistant or legal secretary role

  • Strong organisation and attention to detail
  • nt

  • Confident using case management systems and MS Office
  • nt

  • Excellent communication and client service skills

  • Able to work under pressure and manage deadlines
