Job Description
We're looking for an Oracle EBS Project Manager responsible for managing end‑to‑end Oracle E‑Business Suite application support services, ensuring stable operations, SLA compliance, stakeholder satisfaction, and continuous service improvement. The role involves leading support teams, coordinating with business and technical stakeholders, managing vendors, and overseeing service governance for Oracle EBS modules.
As an Oracle EBS Project Manager, you'll be instrumental in ongoing support of Oracle EBS Applications for UK public sector.
A key part of your role is ensuring stable operations, SLA compliance, stakeholder satisfaction, and continuous service improvement.
Responsibilities
- Lead Oracle EBS Application Support engagement.
- Manage application support lifecycle including incident, problem, change, and release management.
- Ensure adherence to agreed SLAs, OLAs, and KPIs.
- Plan and manage support budgets, resource allocation, and capacity planning.
- Serve as the primary interface between business users, IT teams, Oracle, and third‑party vendors.
- Conduct service review meetings (weekly/monthly/quarterly).
- Communicate support status, major incidents, risks, and improvement plans to leadership.
- Effectively manage escalations and ensure timely resolution.
Required
- Should have a minimum of 12+ years of experience in managing large support engagements.
- Strong experience in Oracle E‑Business Suite (R12 / 11i) support.
- Understanding of Oracle EBS architecture, interfaces, and integrations.
- Experience working with Oracle Support (SR management).
- Familiarity with ITSM tools (ServiceNow, Remedy, Jira).
- Preparation of Status reports with RAG, highlighting risks and mitigations and maintaining RAID log.
Preferred
- Should be an excellent planner for release and delivery planning.
- Should have excellent problem‑solving skills.
- Responsible for coaching and mentoring team members with experience managing 5+ members.
- Experience with Lean / Agile development methodologies & ITIL Methodologies.
