About you:
- Previous experience in a Claims Handler role, ideally with broker or insurer backgrounds
- Knowledge of the end-to-end claims process and insurance cover basics
- Strong organisational skills with high accuracy and attention to detail
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build effective relationships
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, with experience in systems like Acturis or Open GI being advantageous
- Motivated to deliver outstanding customer service and professional to handle queries confidently
- Satisfy all pre-employment checks, including criminal records and credit
What you'll do:
- Manage a variety of claims including motor, household, commercial, liability, and personal injury
- Accurately process claims from notification to settlement, liaising with insurers, loss adjusters, and clients
- Provide expert advice on policy coverage and loss mitigation
- Liaise with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure claims are handled efficiently
- Identify complex or high-value claims and escalate appropriately
- Ensure compliance with FCA regulations, company policies, and best practices
- Support the preparation of management reports and handle customer queries with professionalism
