Senior Storage Consultant – Contract (Outside IR35) | Immediate Start

A leading IT consultancy is seeking an experienced Senior Storage Consultant to support the delivery of enterprise infrastructure solutions for a high-profile client engagement.

This is an initial 3-month contract (outside IR35) with an immediate start, ideally suited to a hands-on consultant with deep expertise in Dell EMC storage, data protection, and virtualisation technologies.

The Role

The successful candidate will play a key role in the design, implementation, and migration of complex storage and backup solutions across enterprise environments. Working as part of a highly skilled delivery team, they will ensure solutions are deployed efficiently, securely, and with minimal disruption to business operations.

Key responsibilities include:

• Leading the design and implementation of enterprise storage solutions
• Delivering complex data migrations with minimal downtime
• Implementing backup, replication, and disaster recovery solutions
• Supporting multi-site and global infrastructure deployments
• Collaborating with stakeholders to deliver scalable and resilient architectures

Key Skills & Experience

• Strong experience with Dell EMC storage platforms (PowerStore, Unity, PowerScale/Isilon, VNX)
• Proven expertise in data protection technologies (Avamar, Data Domain, RecoverPoint)
• Solid experience with VMware virtualisation (VCP desirable)
• Experience with Nutanix HCI platforms
• Strong knowledge of SAN technologies (Brocade and Cisco MDS)
• Proven track record xwzovoh delivering enterprise-scale infrastructure projects

Requirements

• Active SC or DV clearance desirable, or eligibility to obtain clearance
• Available for an immediate start
• Willingness to travel as required
