We’re currently working with a fast-growing business in the commercial/office furniture installations sector, who are looking to hire a Junior Project Manager as part of their ongoing growth plan.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with commercial furniture or office installation experience who is ready to progress into a more client-facing, delivery-focused project role within a supportive and expanding organisation.

The Role

Reporting initially into a Senior Project Manager, the Junior Project Manager will support the delivery of multiple office furniture installation projects across London and the UK.

You’ll manage a portfolio of 3–6 clients, typically overseeing up to three projects running in parallel, and will attend site visits approximately 3–4 times per month. This role offers clear progression as project responsibility increases over time.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supporting the end-to-end planning and delivery of office furniture installation projects
  • Coordinating multiple live projects simultaneously
  • Managing day-to-day client communication and expectations
  • Liaising with suppliers, installers, logistics teams, and internal stakeholders
  • Preparing project schedules, delivery notes, installation plans, and reports
  • Attending site visits to monitor progress and resolve issues
  • Ensuring full compliance with health & safety requirements
  • Managing project documentation including quotes, purchase orders, and close-out packs
  • Assisting with project budgets, cost control, and resource planning
  • Identifying opportunities to improve efficiency, service quality, and client satisfaction

Ideal Candidate Profile

  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in commercial / contract furniture or office furniture installations (essential)
  • Experience overseeing multiple clients and handling concurrent projects
  • Strong organisational and coordination skills
  • Professional, confident, and client-facing communication style
  • Good working knowledge of MS Office (Excel, Outlook, Word); project management software exposure xwzovoh advantageous
  • Proactive, detail-oriented, and solutions-focused approach
  • Willingness to attend site and be hands-on when required
  • Full UK driving licence preferred
