Domestic Abuse Support Worker (Advocate)
An excellent opportunity for a compassionate and resilient Domestic Abuse Support Worker (Advocate) to support victims and survivors through safeguarding, advocacy, case management and trauma-informed support services.

This role is known internally as a Domestic Abuse Advocate
SALARY: £24,784 to £26,872 per annum + Benefits
LOCATION: Walsall, West Midlands
JOB TYPE: Full-Time, Permanent
WORKING HOURS: Monday to Friday 9am – 5pm (37.5 hours per week)

JOB OVERVIEW
We have a fantastic new job opportunity for a Domestic Abuse Support Worker (Advocate) with previous experience supporting vulnerable adults and children within domestic abuse, safeguarding or community support services.
Working as the Domestic Abuse Support Worker (Advocate) you will provide frontline support to victims and survivors of domestic abuse, carrying a caseload that includes risk assessment, safety planning, safeguarding and multi-agency partnership working.
As a Domestic Abuse Support Worker (Advocate) you will support individuals through one-to-one and group work interventions, helping clients access services, make informed choices and live free from abuse using a trauma-informed and person-centred approach.
You will need excellent communication skills, resilience, strong case management ability and experience working with vulnerable individuals within safeguarding or support environments.
