The Role
As a Desk-Based Account Manager, you will manage and grow a portfolio of existing customers. This is the perfect role for someone who enjoys commercial conversations and relationship management without the pressure of a pure "hunter" sales role.

Salary- £35K + OTE
Key Responsibilities:
- Customer Retention: Act as the primary commercial point of contact, ensuring contracts are renewed on time and building strong, long-term relationships.
- Growth & Strategy: Identify and qualify cross-sell and upsell opportunities to deepen customer relationships and grow revenue.
- End-to-End Renewals: Own the renewal process, clearly explaining contract terms and positioning enhanced solutions where suitable.
- Business Development: Support growth through networking events, exhibitions, and proactive outreach to generate new leads.
- CRM Excellence: Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, renewals, and pipeline forecasts.
What You’ll Bring
- Experience: At least 2 years of B2B account management experience.
- Communication: You are a clear and influential communicator, especially over the phone.
- Tech Savvy: You are highly proficient in MS Office, particularly Excel, and comfortable using CRM systems.
- Mindset: You are customer-focused, self-motivated, and possess a solutions-led approach to problem-solving.
- Organization: You can manage multiple tasks at once while maintaining high standards of numeracy and literacy.
