Leggwork are working with a long-established contractor operating across Civil Engineering and Water Infrastructure, now looking to bring in a Pump Service Engineer to support ongoing works across the South West.
This role is hands-on and field-based, working across a range of water and pumping systems, with a focus on install, service, maintenance and fault finding.
Key Responsibilities:
- Install, service, maintain and repair a range of pump systems including Grundfos, Flygt, borehole and UV filtration pumps
- Diagnose faults and carry out repairs across mechanical and electrical components
- Service motors, pipework and associated pumping equipment
- Conduct routine inspections to ensure systems are operating efficiently
- Work on-site across multiple projects as part of a mobile engineering team
Requirements:
- Proven experience working on pump systems (install, service, maintenance and repair)
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to fault-find independently
- Experience working on Grundfos, Flygt, borehole or UV filtration systems highly desirable
- Electrical knowledge around control panels (installation, servicing, repair and commissioning) advantageous, but not essential
- Comfortable working a 50-hour week in a site-based role
- Full UK driving licence (company van provided)
