We are proud to be partnering with a leading property services organisation, who are looking to appoint a Residential Solutions Director on a permanent basis.
This will be a full-time position with nationwide travel required, alongside attendance at their London office, with agile working available by agreement and a salary package between £130,000 - £200,000 dependent on experience.
The ideal candidate will have extensive experience leading large-scale residential, housing or property services operations, ideally within the housing maintenance sector.
Duties will include (but are not limited to):
- Leading the strategic growth and evolution of the Residential Solutions business in line with wider organisational objectives
- Developing and executing a market-led strategy using sector, customer and competitor intelligence
- Driving business development activity across frameworks, partnerships, direct awards and competitive tenders
- Holding full accountability for operational delivery, including safety, compliance, quality and commercial performance
- Leading budgeting, forecasting, governance, cost control and commercial risk management across the business
- Standardising operational delivery models and embedding continuous improvement initiatives
- Driving digital innovation and modern delivery methods to improve productivity and customer outcomes
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with local authorities, housing associations and residential asset owners
- Representing the organisation across sector forums, partnerships and external stakeholder networks
- Leading and developing a geographically dispersed workforce, promoting a culture of accountability, inclusion and high performance
Experience required:
- Extensive experience leading a large-scale residential, housing or property services operation
- Proven track record of business growth, market engagement and successful work-winning activity
- Experience managing multi-site, multi-disciplinary operational teams within a regulated environment
- Demonstrable experience driving profitability, operational performance and strategic growth
Skills, knowledge and expertise required:
- Strong commercial acumen with the ability to deliver sustainable growth and profitability
- Excellent stakeholder management, negotiation and influencing skills
- Strong understanding of the housing maintenance and residential services sector
- Ability to identify market trends, policy changes and emerging opportunities
- Forward-thinking leadership style with the ability to lead teams through change and transformation
- Creative and innovative approach to service delivery and operational improvement
