A fast‑growing organisation in the UK media and advertising space is looking for a commercially minded Research & Data Analyst to join a small, collaborative and insight‑driven team. You’ll help shape how agencies, brands and industry decision‑makers understand the performance and potential of modern audio and multi‑platform media.
What You’ll Do
You’ll work closely with senior insight and planning leads, transforming complex datasets into clear, compelling narratives that inspire both internal and external audiences.
- Dashboard & reporting development — Build and maintain Power BI/Tableau dashboards to track trends across revenue, spend, audience and listening datasets.
- Insight creation — Turn data into stories that highlight opportunities for advertisers and shape strategic thinking.
- Cross‑team collaboration — Work with non‑technical colleagues to understand reporting needs and make data accessible across the organisation.
- Market monitoring — Track wider media and advertising news to identify reactive and proactive content opportunities.
- External content development — Support the creation of high‑profile insight outputs, including quarterly market updates.
- Ad‑hoc analysis — Respond to internal and external insight requests with clarity and speed.
- Strategic research — Contribute to new research projects that shape industry understanding of media consumption and advertising effectiveness.
What You’ll Bring
- 2+ years in a media, advertising or audience insight role
- Strong experience with Power BI, Tableau or similar
- Ability to translate data into engaging visual and written narratives
- A curious, commercially aware mindset with a passion for media, audio and audience behaviour
- Experience with datasets such as Nielsen, RAJAR, IPA Touchpoints (desirable)
- Confidence working independently while contributing to a small, collaborative team
