As part of its continued growth, EdR REIM is seeking to hire a Real Estate Associate to join its European Investment team in London. This is an opportunity to work on a broad range of transactions and strategic initiatives across the platform, with exposure to cross-border investments and collaboration with local teams across Europe.

The role will be based in London.


REAL ESTATE ASSOCIATE – KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Working closely with the other members of the team, the role will cover a broad range of responsibilities across transactions, portfolio oversight and investor-related initiatives throughout the platform.

Investment / Deal Responsibilities

  • Support the origination, assessment and execution of investment opportunities across Europe, working closely with local teams from initial analysis through to transaction closing
  • Undertake financial modelling, scenario analysis and underwriting work for transactions, portfolio reviews and other strategic business initiatives
  • Drive sale processes alongside local teams, supporting the preparation and execution of disposals where relevant
  • Prepare high-quality investment materials, including teasers, presentations and other marketing documentation for transactions, funds, joint ventures and separate account opportunities

Portfolio / Platform Responsibilities

  • Assist with the consolidation, review and monitoring of local teams’ investment pipeline across the platform
  • Perform analytical and formula-based review of internal financial models to ensure consistency and integrity
  • Support analytical review of the current portfolio, including liaising with local teams to gather data and prepare track record analysis, portfolio reporting and related materials

Investor / Business Development Responsibilities

  • Contribute to investor and business development activities by tracking third-party investor interactions and supporting the preparation of fundraising materials
  • Participate in internal and external investor meetings and provide commercial and analytical support on strategic initiatives across the platform


REAL ESTATE ASSOCIATE – SKILLS & REQUIREMENTS

  • Excellent financial modelling and underwriting skills, with strong command of debt and equity structures and the ability to translate analysis into clear investment conclusions
  • Strong knowledge of Pan-European real estate markets and cross-border investment dynamics, ideally with exposure to multiple jurisdictions and sectors
  • Demonstrated experience supporting transactions across the full investment lifecycle, from origination and analysis through due diligence, execution and closing
  • Highly analytical, detail-oriented and quality-driven, with the ability to challenge assumptions, review models critically and deliver work to a high professional standard
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the confidence to engage effectively with senior colleagues, local teams, external partners and investors
  • Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills, alongside strong written communication and presentation capabilities
  • Ability to manage competing priorities and perform well in a fast-paced environment, with a high level of commitment, ownership and professionalism
  • Fluency in English is essential; French and / or German would be a strong plus
