Leveraged Finance, Vice President

Overview

A leading global investment bank is looking to hire a Vice President into its Leveraged Finance team in London.

This is a front office, revenue generating role with responsibility for originating, structuring and executing transactions, alongside active involvement in managing and growing a physical loan book.

Responsibilities

• Lead execution of leveraged finance transactions across sponsors and corporates
• Take ownership of underwriting and running a physical book
• Drive distribution strategy across loan and capital markets
• Support origination efforts with financial sponsors and key client relationships
• Mentor junior team members and play a visible role internally

Qualifications

• Strong leveraged finance experience within an investment bank
• Proven track record in underwriting and managing risk on a physical book
• Deep understanding of loan markets and capital structures
• Confident communicator with client facing experience
• Ability to operate at VP level with increasing leadership responsibility

This is a high visibility role with a clear path to senior leadership, including future responsibility for running a regional business.
