Branch Manager - 12 Month Maternity Cover
Location: Northfield Branch
Salary: £23,812 per annum
Contract: 12 Month Fixed Term Contract
Hours: 25 hours per week (09:00 - 14:00, Monday - Friday / 09:30 - 12:30 Saturday)
What you’ll be doing
- Looking after the day to day running of your branch.
- Leading and coaching your team whilst ensuring everything runs smoothly.
- Managing recruitment and retention of a high-quality team whilst highlighting good behaviours and tackling poor behaviours fairly and promptly.
- Supporting customers with their financial goals, whether they are looking for their first home or to build up savings, with a positive attitude and readiness to help.
- Staying up to date on all our products and services so you’re always ready to share knowledge with customers and your team.
- Keeping things safe and sound in branch, especially when opening and closing for the day.
- Supporting local branches and embedding deep roots in local communities.
What we’re looking for
- People management experience including performance management and recruitment within a financial services environment.
- Positive, helpful, and supportive attitude with a heartfelt impression on our customers.
- Infectious team spirit ready to collaborate and share ideas.
- A customer-centric person who holds a genuine interest in customers and their needs.
- A calm, clear, and confident communicator who can get their point across while making others feel heard.
- Empathy—ability to listen, understand, and offer support to customers and the team.
- Flexibility to step up and help other teams during busy times.
- Tech-savvy—able to use a computer and navigate our systems after training.
- Previous experience delivering great customer service.
- A curious mindset, willing to learn, grow, and develop new skills.
