Interim HR Transformation Director

Starfish Search is supporting a Local Authority in the North of England to appoint an Interim HR Transformation Director to lead a key people and workforce transformation programme.

Reporting to the HR Director, you will oversee HR change activity, improve governance, drive delivery pace, and deliver savings and service improvements across a broad transformation portfolio.

Key responsibilities:

• Lead HR and workforce transformation activity
• Oversee programmes already in delivery
• Improve governance and reporting
• Drive efficiencies and service improvement
• Provide strategic leadership across the portfolio
• Engage senior stakeholders across the council

About you:

• Strong HR transformation leadership experience
• Local Government background is essential
• Track record delivering complex change and savings
• Experience improving programme governance
• Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills
