Overview

An outstanding individual is sought to fulfil the role of Deputy Training Programme Director. The post will be available on a secondment arrangement to NHS England, remunerated 0.5 PA / 2 hours per week (job share would be considered). All work undertaken is to be incorporated into the Consultant Job Plan. The Deputy Training Programme Director is professionally and managerially accountable to the Head of School, focusing on improvement of learner supervision, assessment and experience, engagement of faculty, and ensuring effective educational outcomes now and in the future.

Colleagues with a contractual office base are expected to spend, on average, at least 40% of their time working in our offices. Staff recruited from outside the NHS will usually be appointed at the bottom of the pay band.
