The Business
Mountain IoT Group is a fast‑growing UK technology group delivering IoT solutions for smart buildings, energy management and connected infrastructure. The group has grown revenue at a 36% compound rate over three years to c.£15.7m, with a headcount of c.95 across four trading entities.
Key revenue streams include hardware sales, and energy management software solutions. The business is targeting growth to £25m+ and is in active dialogue with institutional investors.
This is a role with a clear trajectory. The fractional CFO is in place to support the transition through 2026, after which the Financial Controller will be the senior finance leader in the group. For the right person, this is a realistic pathway to Head of Finance or Finance Director as the business scales toward £25m+ and beyond.
The successful candidate will have the opportunity to shape the finance function from the ground up, build their own team, influence commercial strategy, and play a central role in a business that is scaling rapidly through organic growth and acquisition.
