Locum Optometrist – North East London

Overview

Job title: Locum Optometrist

Location: NE London & surrounding areas

Days: 3-5 days per week (No weekends)

Rate: £425 per day

Responsibilities

• Help around 6-8 patients every day, visiting them in their own homes. Appointments are longer (1 hour) to allow time to build relationships and deliver gold-standard care.
• Be trusted to make autonomous decisions and be supported by a senior optometrist team as needed.
• Use the latest equipment, including mobile slit lamp, I-care tonometer, and a digital records system.

Additional Information

• Travel can be up to 50 miles from your home postcode; some days may be closer.
• All travel is planned to minimize distance between patient visits within a local postcode region.
• Excellent equipment and a lightweight kit bag to streamline testing.
• Weekends off.
