Are you passionate about improving mental health through meaningful community engagement and development? Join our South West London and St George's Mental Health Trust's team as a Borough Engagement Manager (Band 7) and play a pivotal role in shaping how we listen to and work alongside our communities.

As part of our Communications and Engagement team, you'll lead strategic partnerships across South West London - bringing together local authorities, community organisations, and residents to tackle health inequalities and drive real change. You'll be at the heart of the South London Listens programme, helping to deliver impactful, community-led initiatives like Be Well that support prevention, connection, and early intervention.

This is a dynamic, outward-facing role for someone who thrives on collaboration, influence, and turning insight into action. You'll manage key projects, shape engagement strategies, and represent the Trust across diverse forums - ensuring voices from all communities are heard and acted upon.

This is a fixed-term post for 12 months, with a possibility of extension. The post will be based at Tolworth Hospital however frequent travel to community sites across our six South West London Boroughs will be required.

Main duties of the job

The Borough Stakeholder Engagement Manager plays a key role in shaping and influencing the delivery of the South London Listens (SLL) programme across South West London boroughs. The postholder will lead strategic stakeholder engagement and partnership development, ensuring effective collaboration with local communities, statutory partners, and voluntary sector organisations. They will oversee the delivery of key borough-based projects, contribute to programme outcomes, and support the rollout of the Be Well initiative in line with agreed KPIs.
