The Membership Director owns the entire membership ecosystem: acquisition, commercial strategy, member journey, retention, and long-term community growth.
This role sets the direction for the club: who we bring in, how we scale, and how we continually elevate the member value proposition. You work hand-in-hand with the Community Manager, who focuses on daily programming and experience execution.
Build the most relevant, future‑facing members’ community in London - commercially strong, culturally resonant; rooted in our East London community.
Deliver against agreed monthly and quarterly membership acquisition targets. Provide clear reporting on pipeline performance, lead generation activity and conversion rates. Identify opportunities to optimise pricing, packages and incentives to accelerate growth.
Ensure prospective members receive a highly personalised and compelling introduction to Aethos. Host tours, events and introductions that showcase the culture, energy and value of the membership experience.
Work closely with the General Manager and marketing team to execute targeted membership campaigns, launch initiatives and promotional strategies designed to drive acquisition during the critical growth phase of the club.
Oversee the onboarding of new members, ensuring applications, payments and CRM records are accurately managed and each member is introduced to the club in a way that reflects the Aethos brand.
Produce regular sales reports covering pipeline activity, lead sources, conversion performance and membership growth against targets.
