Contracts Manager

We are working with a well-established and forward-thinking engineering services company to assist them in hiring a Contract Manager for their growing team in Aberdeen.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Contract Manager to join a dynamic organisation delivering complex projects across the energy sector. The role offers exposure to high-value contracts and the chance to play a key part in supporting commercial success and risk management.

Responsibilities

• Managing the full contract lifecycle from tender through to close‑out
• Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating client and subcontractor agreements
• Identifying and mitigating commercial and contractual risks
• Supporting project teams with contractual advice and guidance
• Managing variations, claims, and dispute resolution processes
• Ensuring compliance with legal, regulatory, and internal standards

Qualifications

• Proven experience in contract management within engineering, energy, or construction sectors
• Strong knowledge of contract frameworks such as NEC, FIDIC, or similar
• Excellent negotiation and stakeholder management skills
• Solid understanding of commercial risk and compliance
• Strong organisational skills with high attention to detail
