Examination Development Officer

About the role

• Bury Adult Learning Service is looking to recruit a part‑time, permanent Examination Development Officer. The post holder will be based at the Bury Adult Learning Centre; occasional home working may be available depending on job need. Hours of work will be 15 per week, which may be over 5 days, Monday to Friday, or could be flexible around the needs of the job. There may be times where evening work may be required.
• The post holder will need to have knowledge and understanding of examination procedures, preferably in an Adult Learning setting. A good level of English, maths and IT skills are also required. Excellent communication skills and team working is essential. The post holder will need to be able to work on own initiative as well as supporting the wider Adult Learning Service staff on all aspects of examinations policies and procedures.
• The Examination Development officer will report directly to the Quality and Currirulum Manager.

Bury Adult Learning is a service within Bury Council. It is externally funded by the Greater Manchester Combined Authority to provide learning opportunities to adults. The service is based in the centre of Bury, across from the Town Hall and the Metrolink.
