The Role

In this position, you will be responsible for the structural health of our projects. You are the person who ensures that the internal mechanics of a consulting engagement function correctly and that data flows efficiently between our team and the client. This is not a role for someone who wants to hide behind vague status updates. It is a role for someone who understands that a project only succeed when the underlying information is organized and the deadlines are respected. You will work across various sectors, from software unit economics to manufacturing capacity, helping our team stay focused on the variables that drive the economic outcome. Your work allows our consultants to focus on high level analysis because they know the project framework is sound.

What You Will Do

• Coordinate data collection requests from clients to ensure our analysts have the raw numbers needed for modeling.
• Update project timelines based on actual progress rather than optimistic projections.
• Create concise summaries of internal meetings that highlight specific decisions made and remaining uncertainties.
• Audit project files to ensure all documentation adheres to our standards for logical consistency and factual accuracy.
• Monitor project budgets to identify where time is being spent versus where the most value is being found.
• Interface with our internal systems to maintain a single source of truth for all active consulting engagements.

What We Need From You

• A high level of comfort with numbers and the ability to spot inconsistencies in a report or spreadsheet.
• Excellent writing skills with a focus on brevity and clarity.
• The discipline to work independently in a fully remote environment without constant supervision.
• A skeptical mindset that asks why a process exists before simply following it.
• Strong organizational habits and the ability to manage multiple moving parts without losing track of details.
• Proficiency in standard tools for documentation and data organization and an ability to learn new software quickly.
