WearehiringanexperiencedSystemsEngineerwithstronghands‑oncapabilityacrossenterpriseIoT/OTinfrastructure,servers,networking,andsecureintegrations.Thisroleisidealforsomeonewhoenjoysblendingtechnicaldepthwithpracticalimplementationandoperationalengineering.ThisisnotadesktopsupportortraditionalWindowsadminrole.WearelookingforsomeoneoperatingatL2toearlyL3level,comfortableworkingacrossmultipletechnologylayerstosupportlarge‑scaleIoTdeploymentsinahigh‑securityenterpriseenvironment.

KeyResponsibilities

• SupportandimplemententerpriseIoT/OTdeviceinfrastructure,includingconfiguration,maintenance,patching,andtroubleshooting
• Translatearchitecturaldesignsintooperational,technicalimplementations
• Performpatchtesting,deployments,andvalidationacrossdevicesandinfrastructure
• Troubleshootissuesspanningdevice,network,server,andSaaSplatformlayers
• WorkwithAPIs,SaaSplatforms,andhybridcloudenvironmentstoenablesecureintegrations
• Handlephysicaldevicesaspartofrefurbishment,testing,androlloutactivities
• Collaboratewithnetwork,security,platformteams,andvendors
• Createandmaintaintechnicaldocumentation,runbooks,andoperationalprocedures
• Ensurecompliancewithenterprisesecurityframeworks(authentication,authorization,encryption)
• Supportmigrations,platformrollouts,andIoTlifecycleprojects

RequiredTechnicalSkills

• StrongexperiencewithWindowsandLinuxserverengineering
• Solidunderstandingofnetworkingfundamentals(routing,subnets,DNS,DHCP,L3concepts)
• Hands‑onknowledgeofIoT/OTdevices,hardwareconfiguration,andtroubleshooting
• WorkingfamiliaritywithAPIs,systemintegrations,andenterpriseenvironments
• ExperiencewithSaaSplatformsandauthenticationprotocols(SAML,OIDC)
• Understandingoffirewalls,proxies,loadbalancers,andsecureenterprisearchitectures
• ProvenbackgrounddeliveringL2/earlyL3engineeringsupport
• Strongawarenessofsecurityfundamentals,includingencryptionandidentitycontrols

Experience&Profile

• 4–8+yearsinSystemsEngineering,InfrastructureSupport,orIoT/OTenvironments
• Stronganalyticalandtroubleshootingabilityacrossmultiplelayers
• Abletooperateindependentlywhilecoordinatingwithglobalteams
• Comfortableworkinginhigh‑security,productionenterpriseenvironments
• Hands‑ondeviceexperienceisrequiredforLondon‑basedroles
• Structuredandrigorousapproachtodocumentation,changecontrol,andsecurity
