Being a Data Analyst at Greencore is pivotal in bridging business needs with data and integration solutions. This role sits within the Data & Integration team and is fundamental in enabling evidence-informed business decisions, translating business requirements into scalable data solutions, and positioning Greencore as a trusted and data-driven organization within the food manufacturing sector.
What you'll be doing:
- Act as the bridge between business stakeholders and the Data & Integration team, translating business requirements into data and integration solutions
- Elicit, document, and prioritise business requirements, data needs, and integration use cases
- Work with data engineers and architects to shape solutions across data pipelines, integrations, and reporting layers
- Analyse datasets to identify patterns, trends, and insights to support business outcomes
- Support the delivery of a portfolio of data and integration initiatives, ensuring alignment to business value
- Facilitate workshops and stakeholder engagement to build shared understanding of data flows and dependencies
- Ensure data definitions, lineage, and transformations are clearly understood and documented
- Communicate insights and solution designs in a clear, actionable manner for both technical and non‑technical audiences
What we're looking for:
- Experience in a Technical Business Analyst / Data Analyst role, working closely with both business stakeholders and technical teams
- Experience gathering and documenting business requirements, data requirements, and functional specifications
- Experience working with data integration concepts, APIs, or data pipelines (e.g. ETL/ELT processes)
- Proven ability to translate business problems into data and analytical solutions
- Knowledge of Microsoft technologies, including SQL Server, Azure (Data Factory), and Power BI
- Understanding of data models, data flows, and end‑to‑end data lifecycle
- Ability to engage stakeholders, facilitate discussions, and challenge constructively
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to present complex concepts simply
