About you
- Deep knowledge of TypeScript and API design best practices
- Strong proficiency in Node.js with a focus on back‑end development
- Experience in database architecture, especially PostgreSQL or similar
- Skilled in building third‑party integrations, webhooks, and event‑driven systems
- Adept at DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and infrastructure as code
- Knowledge of real‑time tech such as WebSockets
- Familiar with automated testing and search technologies like Elasticsearch or Typesense
What you’ll do
- Architect and enhance backend infrastructure: databases, APIs, and integrations
- Develop clean and efficient contracts between front‑end and back‑end teams
- Build and optimise integrations with external platforms to increase the company’s value
- Collaborate directly with the founder to shape product development and technical strategy
- Monitor and improve cloud deployment, security, and system performance
- Guide and mentor junior developers to grow their skills
