CNC Programmer

An established engineering company who have been trading in the area since 1980 with an excellent reputation in their field are seeking a CNC Programmer to join their team. In that time they have built up a great client base, grown their product offering, kept up with technology and invested in their people.

Responsibilities

• Program, Set and Run
• CNC turning, CNC milling, manual drilling, turning
• Use of EdgeCAM CAM package
• Programming of Fanuc Lathes
• Programming of WinMAX Hurco Mills
• Set and Run Machines

Qualifications

• Good engineering background; Team player
• Skilled in machining small batch precision components in motorsport/aerospace environments
• Ability to read dimensioned engineering drawings
• Experienced in Cad/Cam using the latest Delcam PowerMill and PowerShape software creating CNC programs to produce the finished product.
• Good experience able to work from job cards, CAD data and drawings.
• Able to programme offline, understanding of both Fanuc and Heidenheimer controls is preferable
• You will be using Fanuc controlled machines; however, good programming experience will be considered.

You will be joining a company who continually invest in new equipment and the training and development of their employees offering a salary of £36,000 - £42,000 per annum depending on experience plus 25 days holiday + Bank holidays - Half Day Fridays - Paid overtime – Free Parking - Full time Mon to Fri 38.75 hours each week.
