The Client Reporting Team Manager will oversee the creation and delivery of accurate and timely client reports while ensuring compliance with industry standards. This role requires a proactive approach to managing a team and improving reporting processes within the financial services sector.

Responsibilities
- Lead, coach and develop a London‑based Client Reporting team, fostering a collaborative, high‑performing environment with strong accountability and continuous improvement.
- Oversee team workflow, prioritisation and delivery to ensure all client reporting outputs are accurate, consistent and delivered on time.
- Play a hands‑on role in selected client deliverables while providing senior review, guidance and oversight across the team’s broader output.
- Collaborate closely with international counterparts to ensure a coordinated, global approach to client reporting and servicing.
- Review and oversee the production of client reports and materials, maintaining the highest standards of quality, accuracy and clarity.
- Contribute to and review responses to RFPs, DDQs and other client or prospective client questionnaires.
- Build strong working relationships with Client Managers, subject matter experts and internal stakeholders to support effective client servicing.
- Identify and drive improvements to reporting processes, controls and outputs, working with technology and operations teams where appropriate.
- Support broader client distribution and servicing efforts by providing clear, insightful reporting that supports informed client decision‑making.
Profile
- Proven experience within a buy‑side or investment management environment.
- Strong, hands‑on experience delivering and reviewing RFPs, DDQs and complex client/prospect questionnaires, with high standards of accuracy and consistency.
- Currently operating as a Supervisor, Senior Analyst or Junior Team Lead, and looking to step up into a broader people‑management role.
- Highly detail‑oriented and comfortable remaining closely involved in day‑to‑day production while providing review and oversight.
- Demonstrated ability to coach, mentor and manage a small team, fostering accountability, development and continuous improvement.
- Strong client‑centric mindset, with sound judgement and a focus on delivering clear, high‑quality reporting.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey information clearly and with audience awareness.
- Well organised, able to manage multiple priorities and deadlines without compromising quality.
- Collaborative and effective when working with colleagues across functions and geographies.
- Proactive self‑starter who enjoys problem‑solving and improving processes.
- Strong academic background with a proven track record of professional achievement.
- Relevant professional qualifications, degree is a must and CFA, CPA, CIPM or equivalent are advantageous but not essential.
