THE OPPORTUNITY

• Advise on a broad range of asset finance and structured finance transactions. Work on deals involving high-value, tangible assets including rail, infrastructure and equipment.
• Support on complex, often cross-border transactions for leading financial institutions and asset-backed lenders.
• Draft and negotiate key finance documents including loan agreements, leasing arrangements and security documentation.
• Collaborate closely with partners and senior lawyers on fast-paced, deal-driven matters.
• Gain exposure to a strong client base including banks, lessors, sponsors and operators.
• Develop a specialist skillset within a highly sought-after and niche area of finance law.

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE

• Qualified solicitor with 0-3 years’ PQE.
• Background in Banking & Finance, Asset Finance, Structured Finance or a similar transactional area.
• Commercial contract lawyers also considered.
• Strong academics and a genuinely commercial mindset.
• Experience or exposure to drafting finance documents and working on transactions.
• A proactive, detail-oriented individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment.
• Keen to specialise and build a long-term career within asset finance.
