Estimating Manager

We are working with a well-established and forward-thinking engineering services provider to assist them in hiring an Estimating Manager for their growing team.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced estimating professional to take on a key leadership role, overseeing project pricing and contributing to the continued success of a dynamic organisation. You will play a vital part in ensuring accurate, competitive tenders while supporting strategic business growth.

Responsibilities

• Leading and managing the estimating function across multiple projects
• Preparing detailed and accurate cost estimates and tender submissions
• Reviewing drawings, specifications, and client requirements
• Liaising with internal teams, subcontractors, and suppliers to obtain pricing
• Identifying risks and opportunities within tenders
• Supporting business development and contributing to bid strategy

Qualifications

• Proven experience in an estimating role within engineering, construction, or a related sector
• Strong leadership and team management skills
• Excellent commercial awareness and attention to detail
• Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications
• Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills
