Audit Semi-Senior
Location: Lincoln Hybrid Job Type: Full Time
The role
You’ll be joining a modern and growing independent firm, working with a varied client base across multiple sectors. This role offers strong exposure to audit work, with the opportunity to be involved in assignments from planning through to completion, alongside some accounts preparation.
As you develop, you’ll take on increasing responsibility – leading sections of audits, supporting junior team members, and managing your own deadlines.
Key responsibilities
- Assisting with audit assignments from planning through to completion
- Leading smaller audits or sections of larger engagements
- Preparing statutory accounts for audit clients
- Delegating and reviewing work of junior team members
- Managing your workload to meet deadlines and client expectations
- Building strong relationships with clients and colleagues
- Supporting the wider team with ad-hoc assignments as required
About you
- Experience within an accountancy practice, with exposure to audit
- AAT qualified or currently studying ACA / ACCA
- Good understanding of audit processes and accounts preparation
- Strong organisational skills and ability to manage multiple deadlines
- Confident communicator with a client-focused approach
- Proactive and keen to develop professionally
