We are looking for an experienced and commercially minded Treasury, Development and Financial Planning Analyst to join our Finance team and play a key role in supporting the company’s long‑term financial sustainability and growth.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a finance professional with strong treasury, business planning and development appraisal experience to work in a values‑driven housing organisation where your expertise will directly support strategic decision making.

About the role

Reporting to the Senior Manager – Treasury and FP&A, you’ll support the delivery of all operational treasury activities, including cashflow management, business planning, development appraisals and lending compliance. You will also deputise for the Senior Manager – Treasury and FP&A when required and provide line management to a Treasury and Development Assistant.

Key elements of the role include:

  • Supporting the preparation and ongoing maintenance of the 30 year Business Plan, stress testing and scenario modelling
  • Producing and reviewing development scheme appraisals in partnership with Development colleagues
  • Managing and analysing daily and long‑term cashflow forecasts to support liquidity and risk management
  • Supporting compliance with loan agreements, covenants and lender reporting requirements
  • Assisting with negotiations for new funding, investor presentation and refinancing acuities
  • Leading on security charging and property valuation requirements
  • Producing high quality financial and non‑financial analysis and reports for senior management, the Board and external stakeholders
  • Maintaining strong treasury controls, processes and risk management arrangements

About you

You will be a proactive and analytical finance professional, comfortable working with complex financial data and translating it into clear insights for a range of audiences.

You will bring:

  • Strong knowledge of IFRS, financial reporting and financial controls
  • Practical experience of business planning, cashflow management and development appraisals
  • Experience within the social housing sector, including development and treasury activities
  • An understanding of financial risk and a commitment to strong governance and compliance
  • Excellent numerical, analytical and problem‑solving skills
  • The ability to plan, prioritise and manage deadlines effectively in a fast‑paced environment
  • Strong communication skills and the confidence to work with colleagues across the organisation

You will be full or part qualified ACCA, CIMA or CIPFA (or equivalent), or able to demonstrate significant relevant experience within a treasury or financial planning role, with a clear commitment to continued professional development.
