A leading oil and gas trading business is seeking an ambitious Trading Analyst with strong Quant skills to join their team.
You will contribute to a range of high-impact initiatives, including developing predictive models, building scalable data platforms, improving database performance and security, and delivering dashboards and tools that provide actionable market insights.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in a quantitative discipline (or equivalent experience)
- Strong proficiency in Python
- Strong DBA experience with Microsoft SQL Server and advanced SQL querying skills
- Solid understanding of data engineering, ETL processes, and database design
- Experience building and maintaining data warehouses or data lakes (e.g., Snowflake)
- Experience developing analytical or forecasting models
- Familiarity with data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI
- Experience working in a Front Office, trading, or financial services environment preferred
- Strong communication skills with the ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions
