Trainee Paediatric Advanced Clinical Practitioner

The trainee ACP (tACP) role provides an exciting opportunity to work with children of all age ranges and their families in both the acute and outpatient setting, including the high dependency unit. The tACP will work under clinical supervision alongside a broad MDT to holistically assess, carry out investigations and plan care in collaboration with the child and family. The tACP, with support, will work towards an advanced level of practice, completing competencies outlined below while developing skills in all areas and developing a level of autonomy.

The trainee is required to work a minimum of 30 hours (0.8 WTE) as per Health Education/NHS England guidance.

The successful post holder will be supported to undertake the MSc in Advanced Clinical Practice and upon successful completion will become a Band 8a.

Successful applicants will be required to provide an immunisation and vaccination report, from either their current UK occupational health provider or their UK GP.
