- Lucid Strategy Consulting – provides expertise in research, development and commercialisation across therapeutic areas and modalities, streamlining product development, building operational capabilities, innovating, and supporting execution to create value for patients, clients and shareholders.
- US MedComms – works with both US and Global brand teams to create powerful medical communications solutions for early lifecycle assets.
- US Marketing – serves clients across Rx, Medical Device, OTC and Consumer Device categories, delivering compelling communications and promotional solutions to Healthcare Professionals for in‑market assets.
About the Role
A Medical Writer at Lucid can create synergy between science, technical information and commercial objectives to deliver compelling programmes.
- Develop high‑quality medical content based on complex clinical data.
- Maintain high levels of quality and accuracy on any given project, using multiple writing styles as needed.
- Deliver appropriate communication for each client and build good relationships with them through trusted service and knowledge.
- Ensure factual accuracy in all content development.
- Demonstrate knowledge of client data and how to communicate effectively to a wider range of audiences.
- Support the development and delivery of new and organic business proposals.
- Build effective internal partnerships with other capabilities to deliver the project plan on schedule and within budget (client services, project management, creative, strategy, etc).
- Create synergy between science, technical information and commercial objectives to deliver compelling programmes.
- Acquire outstanding knowledge of client data and understand both therapy area and commercial objectives.
- Champion excellent standards.
- Be an invaluable scientific and strategic partner for clients.
- Ensure excellence is always delivered for all projects, on time and on budget.
- Contribute to the pitch process and new business proposals.
Qualifications
Essential Criteria
- A degree in a scientific, medical or life sciences field.
- Good attention to detail.
- Experience managing own time in a fast‑paced, deadline‑driven environment.
- Experience working within a healthcare communications agency environment.
- Experience working within the healthcare/pharmaceutical sector.
- Experience writing for a variety of medical/scientific audiences.
Desirable Criteria
- Experience working in an agile environment.
- Experience working collaboratively and efficiently in a cross‑capability team.
- Proven ability to build professional external partnerships through work.
- Proven ability to create high‑quality medical/scientific content.
