We are pleased to share this opportunity for a motivated and enthusiastic mental health professional to join the Birkenhead Community Mental Health Team. (Qualified mental health Nurse).
Key Responsibilities
- Support clinic duties and key work a varied yet manageable caseload.
- Work within a multi‑disciplinary framework, undertaking assessments and coordinating the care of patients with both functional and organic mental illness.
- Support / lead aspects of busy community clinics and manage ongoing assessment, formulation, care planning, risk assessments, completing reviews and offering tailored interventions to improve well‑being and outcomes for individuals and their families.
- Signpost patients to other agencies where necessary.
- Provide excellent communication, report writing and assessment skills.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Mental health nurse qualification or equivalent.
- Comprehensive working knowledge of mental health disorders.
- Knowledge of the Mental Health Act.
- Access to transport for work purposes essential.
- Mandatory supervision and training; wider training and personal development encouraged.
