Location: Witney, Oxfordshire
Contract: Permanent
Hours: 39 hours per week, full time
Salary: £30,856.62 per annum
Annual Leave entitlement: 33 days inclusive of bank holidays
Additional Information: Must hold a full UK drivers licence and have access to your own vehicle to travel between support addresses

About The Role
We are looking for a Deputy Support Manager to assist the Support Manager in leading teams, delivering person‑centred support that meets regulatory, contractual, and organisational requirements.
Responsibilities
- Mentor teams, coach support staff, and drive continuous improvement.
- Ensure practice leadership is developed, recognised, and reflected in all activities.
- Work on shift as part of the working rota, acting as a role model of best practice.
- Support people to design their support plans, assist with rota management, maintain records, address concerns, and conduct audits.
- Depute for the Support Manager when needed.
- Empower individuals, promote inclusion, rights & independence, while adhering to policies and acting as an ambassador for the company.

Skills & Experience
- Relevant Health and Social Care qualification at Level 3 or above (England) or SCQF 7 or above (Scotland).
- Proven experience supporting people with learning disabilities.
- Leadership or coaching experience is desirable.
- Knowledge of safeguarding, health and safety, and care regulations.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and decision‑making skills.
- Confidence in using digital systems (e.g. Excel, care planning software).
- Flexible working hours, willingness to travel locally and work across multiple locations.
