Job Introduction

Temporary Accommodation Officer (Pay Grade SO2) – 3 x full time 12‑month fixed term post. Part of the Royal Borough of Greenwich’s Temporary Accommodation Team.

Responsibilities

  • Collect rent and manage tenancy accounts.
  • Conduct housing management duties and property inspections.
  • Sign up new tenants for tenancy agreements.
  • Identify and provide support for vulnerable tenants.
  • Maintain effective relationships with other teams, agencies, landlords, and colleagues.
  • Work flexibly and provide excellent customer care in a fast‑paced environment.

Qualifications

  • Experience as a Housing Officer or equivalent.
  • Knowledge of health and safety legislation, tenancy and property standards.

Salary

Standard working week of 35 hours. Salary calculator available to calculate pro‑rata salary.
