Position
The Position: Project Controls Engineer
Project Controls Engineer will be part of the Integrated Project Controls team, reporting to the Lead Project Controls Engineer. The team acts as a centre of excellence for project controls implementation, providing a single source of delivery performance information. It operates across a matrix organisation supporting various programmes, including Central, Site, Engineering, MEH, Nuclear Island, Conventional Island, Balance of Plant, Instrumentation and Controls, and Commissioning.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for producing and maintaining accurate forecasts and project controls data aligned with the Cost Breakdown Structure or Work Breakdown Structure
- Coordinating and producing project control reports, supporting trend and change processes, generating performance indicators, delivering insights for decision-making, and collaborating across project areas
- The role will use tools such as Primavera P6, EcoSys, ARM, and other project controls software
Qualifications / Experience
- Proven experience in Project Controls methodologies and tools
- Proficiency with Primavera P6, EcoSys, and ARM
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- High attention to detail ensuring accuracy of data
- Strong communication skills with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Knowledge of risk analysis tools such as @risk and Safran
- Familiarity with engineering, procurement, and construction processes
- Project management certifications such as APM – PMQ or PMI – PMP
- Experience in nuclear or highly regulated environments would be beneficial
- Reside locally to Bridgwater or be prepared to relocate, as this permanent role does not include travel expense coverage.

Many of our UK projects require high-level security clearance, meaning we can often only consider candidates with an existing, indefinite right to work in the UK.
