Who we are:
We’re a global electrical engineering consultancy working with regulated utilities, renewable developers and major infrastructure owners on complex, high voltage challenges. We are 220 people globally, working across Europe, North America, Australia and New Zealand. The UK team leads our Earthing & Lightning Protection service, focusing on practical engineering, collaboration and solving real world problems that matter.
You’ll be joining a friendly, specialist team with strong experience in Earthing & Lightning protection. Learning and development are a big part of how we work – you’ll be supported through mentoring, hands on project work and opportunities to build confidence as your experience grows. We offer flexible working based on trust, while still valuing time together as a team.
What you’ll do:
You’ll support the delivery of earthing system studies for new and existing high voltage sites across the UK. You’ll work alongside experienced consultants, getting involved in site surveys, analysis and design work, and gradually taking on more responsibility through time.
The team is based in Wales and covers the surrounding counties, along with sites in Southern Scotland. We’d love to hear from candidates who are happy to travel across the UK to support site surveys. This typically involves short periods away from home – usually around 2–3 nights every few weeks.
Some site work can be hands on and may include physical activities such as inspections and carrying equipment to take electrical measurements.
A full UK driving license is required.
