Key Responsibilities
- Support and improve process control systems and Safety Instrumented Systems (SIS)
- Work on PLC / DCS systems (for example Siemens, Allen Bradley, Honeywell)
- Deliver control system upgrades and modifications
- Produce SIL documentation, SRS, and verification work
- Support plant troubleshooting and root cause analysis
- Ensure compliance with IEC 61508 / 61511 standards
- Support hazardous area instrumentation in ATEX environments
- Work closely with operations, maintenance, and engineering teams
- Support commissioning, testing, and system improvements
Requirements
- Experience in C&I / Control Systems within process, energy, or industrial environments
- Hands‑on experience with PLCs / DCS (for example Siemens, Honeywell, ABB)
- Strong understanding of SIS and functional safety (IEC 61508 / 61511)
- Experience working on or supporting live plant operations
- Familiarity with hazardous areas (ATEX / BS EN 60079)
- Practical, problem‑solving mindset with strong stakeholder engagement skills
